We meet you at the Alcantara Vineyards where you can park in designated Water to Wine parking, change into clothes if you need to in the outdoors changing rooms and meet your guide and shuttle driver who will take you and the other guest upstream about 15 minutes where your boats will be and your river adventure begins.

We had a great time. Everyone in the group was fun. The leaders kept us well informed since the was a large group for tubbing ahead of us. Would highly recommend this activity. Not real strenuous just a great experience.

What an amazing time!! All the guys were great helping us out with the kayak pointers. So relaxing and fun!! The winery part of the experience seemed a bit disorganized coming out of Covid?? They were not prepared to accommodate us but their wines were delish! Would definitely do it again!!

The kayaking portion is wonderful and worth the trip. The winery is underwhelming and overwhelmed. Not only did I find the employees disorganized and standoffish, but they did not share one word about any of the wines they poured literal sips of. Then, if they ran out of a wine on their own pre fixed flight, they don’t volunteer any suggestions for a replacement. Certainly don’t seem to be interested in selling they’re wine. The Rose was ok. They’re lucky they’re next to a river, because I’d be back for that, I’d just leave after the kayaking.

Great Kayak trip and great personnel. We were in a car accident 1 mile before we got there I called and told them we would be late. They waited for us and went the extra mile to make us relaxed and ready for the water. It was a slow comfortable and lazy trip down the river. 2 hours later we were totally relaxed and loved every minute of the trip. Thanks again guys.

Had the best time! Our host, Thomas Bryant, was so friendly and personable. He has a great sense of humor and truly just wants everyone to have a good time. He explained all the different paddle techniques, how to hold the paddle. how to get in and out of the inflatable kayaks carefully. The scenery was beautiful. The water was calm, a few ripples of "whitewater" which were really fun to maneuver over. Plenty of places to just drift and enjoy the quiet and sound of the breeze through trees and water. The winery though....the pourers did not take time to even tell you what they were pouring, let alone to talk to you about their wines. They were busy, but not busy enough to at least tell you what you were being poured. We ordered a small cheese plate. The crackers were soggy, the cheese hard and dried out. When we let our know, all she did is shrug. And we did not find the wines particularly good. Would skip this part of the trip. But the kayak staff was aso

Everything about this trip was wonderful. Our guides, Anthony, Thomas, and Emily took care of us throughout. Nothing but a good time! We are moderately experienced kayakers, but this trip could be easily completed by novices.

The vineyard was beautiful and the wine was very good. The kayaking was mellow and decent value for the money. The main issue is that the tour guides were not covid safe and didn’t enforce basic guidelines. Our guide barely had his mask on while driving the shuttle and he allowed guests to not wear their masks on the shuttle. It was very uncomfortable and if I knew it was like this I would have reconsidered booking. Especially with the rates in Arizona, they need to take safety precautions seriously

This was a lot of fun. We went October 2020 on a 60 degree sunny day and it was perfect weather. I’ve never been kayaking and did fine. Super relaxing and we even saw an owl!

Overall, the kayaking experience was ok, but a bit more guidance would’ve been nice. My husband was a first time kayaker and we received a 1-2 minute overview of the river and instructions...without a guide on the journey with us. We managed but having a guide on the trip and a separate driver for the bus would’ve been nice. The winery was scenic from the patio/seating area and the $20 voucher per person was a good plus. Fairly good afternoon outdoors.

Our first kayak trip and we had a ball. The river was down (short on monsoons this year) so we had to do some maneuvering to get off the rocks but that was half the fun and challenge. The float and bonus riffles (can't call them rapids) was a blast. The trip did not have a guide due to Covid 19 but it was not difficult to find your way and the pre-trip training was sufficient to the task at hand. All of the staff in attendance were helpful and courteous. Our only concern was with the transport to the drop-in point and the winery. There was no ability to social distance and there were several other guests without masks and no one asked them to put one on. It was definitely not as private or protected as the description leads one to believe. The winery was clearly understaffed and table service for the wine did not exist. We most likely would not return to the winery but enjoyed the kayaking greatly.
