Make your way to the family-owned Kualoa Ranch, a working cattle ranch in the sacred Ka'a'awa Valley. The windward side of the island, where the ranch is located, has a very different landscape than the beaches of Waikiki and is ripe for exploration. The cliffs, beaches and thick rainforest have made up the backdrop for many blockbuster films like Pearl Harbor and Jurassic Park.

Meet your experienced adventure guides for a short orientation, then get fitted with your safety equipment. Take off over the series of fourteen ziplines, each named for a culturally significant aspect of the Ka'a'awa Valley and ranging in length from 200 feet to 1/4 mile (.4 km). The course has an automatic braking system, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Fly through the forest and across burbling natural streams. Cross several suspension bridges and learn about the local plant and animal life from your guide along the way.

Embark on a couple of short treks along nature trails, each about 5 minutes in length, as your guide points out Hawaiian medicinal plants and describes their ancient traditional uses.

Loved this tour and the guides. The ranch is beautiful. I loved driving by the old movie sets. Gabe, Marc and Dave were the absolute best. We were in great hands and they made it so fun. Would visit the ranch again and again. It’s really beautiful.

Talking to the guides, wish I could remember all of their names but we know Ashley is our hero being out there after having her baby and the view of the island 🏝 is breathtaking. We give this a three 👍 👍👍

We’ve been zip lining several times and our adventure yesterday was one of our favorites! The zip lines were great, safety was top priority and the landscape was beautiful. The best part of our activity were the men that ran the adventure. They were fun, friendly, personable and respectful.

We had three awesome tour guides who took us through the seven zip lines. There is a little bit of hiking, but not much. All of the zip lines are almost right next to each other. The tour guides made it really fun with games and jokes. We really enjoyed our time. We have no complaints besides we couldn’t always tell what the tour guides were saying because they were talking so fast. But we figured it out. Overall, super fun!!
