The bridge work covers the beauty of the span but surrounding area makes the tour memorable. I especially appreciated having the captain stop our boat often to just ‘be’ and take in 360 degrees of Salish Sea! We enjoyed the information our tour guide provided!"

We are the only kayak tour company that is currently able to lead trips to Burrows Island. You will be exploring unique shorelines that few visitors to the islands are able to experience. Save time, and save money! The experience does not require the hassles of taking a ferry to San Juan Island. Anacortes, located on Fidalgo Island has two bridges connecting us to the mainland. Because you are able to drive directly to us your time on the water is maximized. Many tour companies on other islands include a lengthy shuttle ride as a part of their trip thereby reducing the actual time spent kayaking and encountering wildlife. Single kayaks are available for participants for an additional $25pp. Must be 18 years or older. (Must be requested in advance and is subject to availability.) Professionally trained guides will see to the details and ensure your comfort.

No experience is necessary to join this professionally guided kayak trip. Bowman Bay is the perfect place for beginners to feel comfortable paddling on the sea. It offers beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife to seek out. Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. If you plan to visit Deception Pass State Park then don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see it from the unique perspective of a sea kayak!

* A traveler said: "We had a very good time on this tour. We had only been kayaking once or twice before and we were a little tired as we were trying to squeeze a lot into one day, but this was just the right amount of time, it's a short trip with beautiful scenery all around. We enjoyed our tour guide Nikki very much, she was pleasant and patient, and even though I would have thought we would have been the lest experienced she had quite a group of novice and handled us all very well. Nikki took pictures for us (as we were afraid to take a phone or camera out on the kayak) and sent them to us later, it was nice to have our time memorialized. Cheer! :)"

Our cruise will last approximately two hours from departure to return. Along our route we will pass Orcas Island, Shaw Island, Crane Island and Pole Pass. Throughout the cruise the Captain will be explaining the tales and lore behind many of these unique and culturally historic areas. You are welcome to sit back, relax and marvel in the majestic tranquility of the San Juan waterways. This is very unique way to experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest Islands.
